Endoscopy and Laparoscopy

Endoscopy
We have an endoscope instrument available for special cases. An endoscope is a camera that can be inserted into the oral cavity to look at the inside of the throat, esophgues, stomach,etc. If possible, it is a less invasive way to remove foreign bodies and to take small biopsies.

Laprascope
We have a laprascope available to special cases as well. A laprascope is a camera that is inserted with a small incision into the abdomen. It allows visualization of the abdominal organs without doing full exploratory surgery. This is fairly new technology for veterinarians and more and more is being done with this instrument (spays, biopsies, many surgical procedures).
