We actually saved the life of one of our Golden Retriever patients by finding a splenic tumor and removing it before it had the chance to become malignant (based on the biopsy report). We have recently helped with the rescue of 22 dogs from Allegan County in Western Michigan. Most have medical conditions that require attention before putting them up for adoption. However, we are accepting applications now and will review them in the order received when adoption time comes. Follow the links below to some recent news stories detailing the story:
Serenity Animal Hospital has taken in puppies and dogs that were on "Death Row" at area humane societies. These loving dogs were scheduled to be euthanized because of the overwhelming amount of animals being turned into shelters. We also have cats and kittens that have been surrendered to us here at the hospital.

We want to make your first visit to our facility easier at check-in by providing the following client and pet information sheets for you to download, print out, and fill out prior to your visit. If you have any questions, please feel free to call.
For those of you that will be bringing your pet in for surgery, we invite you to print out our Peace of Mind Sheet ahead of time. The items listed there are meant to provide your pet with the best possible surgical and anesthetic experience here at our hospital. Please feel free to call and discuss the options with our technical staff.
You will be able to request refills on medications and food for your pet by e-mail. Just send your request to: firstname.lastname@example.org Please include your name, your phone number, and your pet's name. Please be as specific as possible in name and quantitiy of medication or name and size of food requested.
A technician will contact you to let you know when your requested medication or food will be ready to pick-up. Please allow at least 24 hours for medication and up to a week for food.
Payment Policy: Payment is expected at the time of service or discharge from the hospital. For your convenience, we accept Cash, Checks, VISA, Mastercard,Discover, Care Credit, and Citi Healthcard.
